Vegan At-A-Glance – WDW In-Park Table Service

Vegan At-A-Glance
WDW In-Park Table Service

Partially updated: 2017 (still a work in progress)

This chart should give you an idea of what vegan things you can expect to get at the Table Service restaurants inside the parks! The Disney-owned restaurants are generally much better and more consistent than the non-Disney ones (particularly in the World Showcase).

Any Disney restaurant with a kitchen and a chef can make you *something* vegan. But, of course, some places are going to have better options, and people have different tastes, so I hope these charts will help you narrow down what you might like.

I’m still working on EPCOT-World Showcase  (there are lots of restaurants there!).

Note: All of this is subject to change, of course. I’m merely a Disney/vegan food enthusiast, and not official in any capacity. If you’re allergic to something in addition to being vegan, always get a manager/chef.

Magic Kingdom – Table Service

Land Restaurant Description. Vegan Options
Main Street, USA Crystal Palace Character dining (Winnie the Pooh and friends).
Buffet.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Several of the salads on the buffet are vegan. Reviews tend to be better for lunch/dinner than breakfast (no Mickey waffles; just frozen Van’s).
Main Street, USA Plaza Restaurant Lunch and dinner Vegetarian Sandwich — no mozzarella or pesto and multigrain bread instead of the focaccia. Vegan shakes and ice cream!
Main Street, USA Tony’s Town Square Lunch and dinner Nothing vegan on the menu, but they have enough ingredients to make a variety of vegan pasta dishes. Examples: Multigrain Pasta (on the menu, modified no feta). Pasta primavera (possible vegetables: broccoli, artichoke hearts, tomatoes). Shrimp scampi with vegetables instead of shrimp (possiblities: asparagus and sun-dried tomatoes).
Liberty Square Liberty Tree Tavern Lunch and dinner.
Al a carte at lunch. Family-style at dinner.
There is no vegan option at lunch anymore. They can modify the vegetarian pasta on the menu to be vegan, but it’s not received good reviews.

At dinner, there are not any more options, and you still pay the normal dinner AYCTE price.

Fantasyland Cinderella’s Royal Talbe Princess character dining inside Cinderella Castle.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Reviews are generally better for lunch/dinner than for breakfast. Current veg lunch/dinner option: Couscous with vegetables. Breakfast is more limited: Van’s waffles and fruit.
Fantasyland Be Our Guest Beast meets guests at dinner.

Appetizer: Shiriki Noodle Salad (substitute rice noodles for the egg noodles).
You can add grilled tofu to either dish.
Table bread is vegan (and delicious)! Usually comes with a honey dipping sauce, but you can get olive oil or Earth Balance instead.

Epcot Future World – Table Service

Pavillion Restaurant Description Vegan Options
The Land Garden Grill Character Dining. Dinner. Family-style. Current veg entree is a non-meat loaf. Vegan sides generally include fries or sweet potato fries, green beans, and plain salad.
The Seas Coral Reef Lunch, dinner Current veg option: Tofu Noodle Bowl. See my review on this. Please save yourself the time/money, and skip it until they change the menu again.

Hollywood Studios – Table Service

Area Restaurant Description Vegan Options
Sci-Fi Dine In Lunch and dinner. Fabulous drive-in theming with old sci-fi movie clips playing. Not on the menu: Tofu, vegetable, and rice dish (my recommendation!). Pasta with veggies. Malibu burger.

Dairy-free ice cream shakes are often available, but there have been reports of people being refused them when they’re really busy.

On the menu: Falafel burger.

Brown Derby Signature restaurant. Dinner only. Veg option: Pho (not getting great reviews).

Animal Kingdom – Table Service

Area Restaurant Description Vegan Options
Oasis (accessible from outside or inside the park) Rainforest Café Breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Africa Tusker House Character dining (Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, Pluto).
Buffet.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
This is one of the “must do” restaurants for most vegans/vegetarians. A large portion of the buffet is naturally vegan. Africa and Indian inspired cuisine.
Asia Yak and Yeti Talk to staff about getting fish-sauce-free and chicken-stock-free veg dishes. They can do quite a few noodle/rice, veg, tofu dishes with some modifications.
